My expertise in working with clients comes from helping individuals navigate changes in their lives, deal with traumatic events, and cope with the difficulties of day-to-day life. I also approach my work with the experience of raising two children and now getting to enjoy the love of two grandchildren as well!  I enjoy working with children and teens as well as adults, adjusting my approach to the individual needs of the client. 

Through empathy, honesty and a collaborative approach I strive to make each session a safe space where my clients have the opportunity to feel heard and to cultivate hope. Clients of all walks of life, religion, spirituality, sexual preference and identity are welcome at Bright Spark Play Therapy and Counseling.

I  approach Neurodiversity as a natural and valuable form of human diversity and welcome the opportunity to work with Neurodiverse clients and families.

Family counseling focuses on increasing the quality of relationships between family members.  I often work with parents and children together in order to re-establish balance within the relationship.
